Party drugs at centre of Queensland State of Origin claims

Darren LockyerQueensland State of Origin players dabbled in home-made party drugs in the lead-up to the final game at Suncorp Stadium last week, News Limited reports today.

Red Bull and Stillnox are believed to be at the centre of the claims.

Coach Mal Meninga was incensed by the lax attitude of his charges in the week leading up to the match and it is believed a report will be submitted to Queensland football authorities shortly regarding the team’s poor response.

Inquiries by The Australian yesterday revealed the dangerous combination of Stilnox and Red Bull is in vogue with professional footballers across all codes.

ASADA has confirmed Stillnox is not on the banned substance list.
