Anderson to leave Austereo

Michael Anderson, CEO of Austereo, will leave the group at the end of the financial year, the radio network announced today.

“I have enjoyed my years with Austereo immensely and believe I have been a strong contributor to its success,” Anderson said in a statement on Thursday.

“I am privileged to have been CEO of the group.”

Austereo chairman Peter Harvie confirmed the network will ensure a smooth succession plan will be in place to replace Anderson.

“The board of Austereo will establish a process to determine a suitable successor,” he said.
